CP-1: the Past, Present & Future of Nuclear Energy

On January 25, 2013, a lunch program to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the world’s first self-sustaining, controlled nuclear chain reaction was held at the Chicago campus of Northwestern University. The event was organized by the Chicago Council on Science and Technology and Argonne National Laboratory.
Mark Peters, Argonne Deputy Director for Programs, was one of the featured speakers, as were past Argonne directors Alan Schriesheim and Bob Rosner. Watch the video recording of the invited speakers’ presentations.
