Rapid Sampling Tools

back to Projects List | back to VAT Home

We have developed simple, easy to use hand tools that allow the user to obtain a sample of a gas, liquid, or flowable powder from inside a sealed container without opening the container or releasing any of the contents. Containers of almost any composition can be rapidly sampled, with wall thickness of up to 0.5” and internal pressures up to 8 atmospheres. Applications include counter-terrorism, emergency response teams, drug and environmental raids, and waste management.
