Event Wrap-up: Junior Girl Scout Workshop organized by Chicago Section of ANS

On January 26, 2013, three women staff members of Argonne’s Nuclear Engineering
Division joined with other members of the American Nuclear Society (ANS) Chicago Chapter,
plus other area professionals, to present a Junior Girl Scout Workshop, “Atomic Fission Fun
with the American Nuclear Society,” held at the Illinois Institute of Technology’s
Rice Campus in Wheaton, Ill. The event was a success and was featured in the January-February Issue
of the “ANS
News” Newsletter, which offers a detailed account of the workshop.
